How much money do you have saved for a rainy day? Have enough to get by for a month? A year?

Your employees think about it. They worry.

When you talk about employee engagement, you get the whole employee. Worries and all.

Do you talk to your employees about money? The Planet Money people asked Americans how much they think they should salt away for a rainy day. One month’s worth of money was the answer.

A month.

What if you had no income for a year? Or two? What then?

The next time one of your recruiters says they won’t look at resumes from people who have been out of work more than six months, send that recruiter into their own Rainy Day.
