The HR Practitioner’s Guide to Creativity

Want to know how to be creative? Listen.

Observe the world around you. If you’re in the HR business, spend more time paying attention to what people are saying than you do telling them what you think. What you would do is what you would do.

The most creative people I know have a passion. They exercise their creative muscles. And they are keen observers of the world around them.

Once you’re sure you have all the answers you’ve abdicated your chance to ever be a creative.

Learn to let go.

And don’t get so sweaty around your waistband.
