Grading HR Writing

You know what HR writing is begging for? A grader. Someone who would judge the quality of writing — and by extension, the quality of thinking in HR magazines and blogs.

There would be kudos for clarity and originality. For tight writing. There would be demerits for pandering and pablum. And it would contrast the writing quality of a Jack Kerouac from an Amanda McKittrick Ros, or a Flannery O’Connor from a Nicholas Sparks if you prefer.

This could be a fun little project. Or make a lot of people angry. Pop me a note if either of those motivations intrigue you.
