Communication Veritgo

in Communication

You know that feeling you get when you first step off a treadmill? Or when you’ve been on a boat for a long while and first set foot on land? That uncertainty? That feeling that you’re disconnected from your body?

That’s disorientation. It’s your inner ear telling you something different than your eyes are seeing.

Happens all the time in the communication business. Employees feel funny when they’ve had it one for a long time, then you tell them something different.

You’re their inner ear. If you do your job well, you help them with the queasiness and put them firmly on solid ground. If not, you’re vertigo to them.
